As Nigerians still await the provisional list of players for the world cup, Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi says they’re still continuously working and monitoring the players. Keshi posited that Nigerians will be made aware when the list is presented.
In a chat with 365footballnews.com, the former Mali and Togo boss disclosed that the technical crew is in talks with some of the players about playing for the Super Eagles and he further revealed that invitation of players for the world Cup will be based on merit and not just selection.
“We have been working and watching what they (players) are doing out there on the field of play and talking to some players too, the method of invitation is the same way and when the list is presented it will be revealed to everyone”
