A leading insurance company of Ghana, Star Assurance has supported the Educational Endowment Fund initiated by the Asaantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II with Gh¢10,000.00 .
The donation is also in line with efforts by Star Assurance towards building a stronger relationship with the society.
The insurance company also donated a variety of drinks towards the celebration of the birth day of the King.
The Executive Director of the Star Assurance Company, Mrs. Boatemaa Panin Baffuor-Awuah commended the people in the region for supporting and patronising the products of the company over the years.
“We really appreciate Otumfuo, we are very happy to share joy with him and congratulate him on his birth day and 15th anniversary celebrations,“ she said.
She also commended the King in his efforts towards developing the human capital through education.
Mrs. Baffuor-Awuah extolled the Asantehene for his zeal in promoting national peace and unity.
As one of the biggest insurance companies in the country, Star Assurance Company has over the years been developing innovative insurance products to meet the needs of its clients.
“Star Assurance is expanding its operations with new branches across the country in order to improve penetration and distribution of insurance products and services for the public and to attract the non-insured public as well,” Mrs. Baffuor-Awuah added.
She challenged individuals and organizations to take precautionary measures in their operationsand more importantly to pick up insurance policies against the unexpected and unexpected risks while they focus on their businesses.
“As a developing country it is imperative to encourage the patronage of insurance products and services to avert the risk of losing our businesses and properties in times of disasters,” she remarked.
