Addressing the opening session of the workshop, Mr. Samuel Owusu-Takyi, Country Director of the Foundation, stated that MORE was committed to a system of agriculture that integrates the latter and wealth creation as well as environmental protection and sustainability.
He pointed out that, farmers should continually be motivated to adopt the best practices by being given technical support and training to increase their yield and dividend in order to sustain their businesses.
Mr. Owusu –Takyi announced that his outfit has targeted to train farming families instead of individuals since empowering families with agricultural expertise had a multiplying effect on creating wealth and also reduce poverty.
