Billboards campaigning for Goodluck Jonathan to be elected president in Nigeria have popped up in Ghana.
The billboards located at Danquah Circle and on the Accra-Tema Motorway, were erected by a group calling itself Friends of Jonathan in Diaspora calling on Nigerians living in Ghana to go home and support the Nigerian President.
Africa’s most populous nation will hold general elections on February 14, 2015.
The billboards have the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emblem on the top right corner.
The party led by Goodluck Jonathan faces opposition from All Progressives Congress led by former military ruler, Muhammadu Buhari.

Observers say the elections are likely to be the most closely fought and tense since the country's return to democracy in 1999.
Meaning, President Goodluck Jonathan’s political strategist are not leaving anything to chance.
It could be presumed that the growing Nigerian population in Ghana is one group they cannot ignore.
