Black Stars midfielder Christian Atsu says winning the most valuable player award at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations tournament will encourage him in future tournaments.
Christian Atsu played a very key role in Black Stars impressive run at the tournament as his goal against Guinea was also adjudged as the best goal of the tournament.
The Chelsea player on loan at Everton is hoping to build on his performance at the tournament as he goes back to Everton where he has been struggling to get playing time.
“It is a great encouragement for me in my football career and this will push me to do more,” said Atsu.
“I don’t know the future but I always expect good things in my life because God is with me and I’m also a hard working guy.
“Anytime at any moment I don’t look down no matter what the situation is I just always expect God to do something new in my life.”
