Ten people have died with many others injured in a fatal accident on the Obuasi-Dunkwa road in the Ashanti Region.
The accident which involves a Sprinter and Ford vehicles occurred at about 11 pm on Monday.
Adom News's Isaac Normenyo reported that both vehicles attempted to manoeuvre sand debris on the road resulted in the accident.
Six persons are said to have died on the spot while four others died at the Obuasi Government Hospital.
Those who sustained serious injuries have been transported to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
