General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Pastor Otabil says the 2020 edition of Greater works will be held online.
He explained that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the church will not be able to hold a live edition as it usually does.
"From Monday evening, we will start telecasting or showing on social media all the various days of Greater Works and then in the morning, we'll have two sessions as we normally do during Greater Works.
"In the evening too, we will hold the usual service and then we will continue through to Friday," he said during Sunday morning's service.
Despite a lift on the ban on religious activities in the country, Pastor Otabil insists members of his congregation must continue worship from home.
He said even though the ban has been lifted, it is prudent for service to continue online in order to save lives during the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to him services will continue online until August 16, when "some selected churches will given a directed to open up for service.
"So we will be doing throwback, that means we will be using previous services of greater works. We believe the word of God is still the same, it's powerful and God will minister to you through that, so get ready," he said.
"It will not be on TV, it will only be on our social media handles so tomorrow we start Greater Works Virtual," he added.
