The International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) celebrates 42 years of steady growth, far-reaching influence and a teaching ministry that has shaped generations across Ghana and beyond.
Founded on February 26, 1984, by Pastor Mensa Otabil, the Church has grown from a local assembly into a global family — distinguished by its unwavering commitment to the teaching of the Word of God and its mandate to raise leaders, shape visions, and influence society through Christ.
From the beginning, Pastor Otabil’s focus has been clear and consistent: to teach Scripture with depth, clarity and practical relevance. That commitment has produced a church culture grounded in knowledge, discipline and purpose. For over four decades, the pulpit of ICGC has trained believers to think biblically, live responsibly and lead with excellence in every sphere of life.
Today, the influence of that teaching is evident in the many men and women serving in ministry, business, governance, academia and industry — individuals whose leadership values have been shaped by the message they received.

The Greater Works Conference has evolved into one of the most impactful Christian gatherings, drawing thousands and bringing renewal and empowerment to the Body of Christ.

Through the Doulos Conference, the Church continues to raise committed and effective ministry workers, strengthening its structure and expanding its reach.

ICGC’s message extends far beyond its auditoriums through its strong media presence.
Through Living Word, Word To Go and Christian Conversations, the teaching ministry of Pastor Mensa Otabil reaches homes, offices and nations — offering biblical insight, leadership wisdom and a Christ-centred response to contemporary issues.
