Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, says the party will prioritise education when voted in power come December 7.
Addressing the people during her visit to the Bia East Constituency of the Western North Region, she said the youth are the future leaders, hence, they must be given the needed education to develop the country.
She noted that the NDC will set up a $10 billion fund termed the "Big Push” which will be invested in the education and agriculture sectors.
The former Education Minister said when voted into power the free SHS policy introduced by the Akufo- Addo government will be reviewed to put it in a better position to provide the quality education for students.
According to her, the NDC government will provide infrastructure, school edifices to help eradicate the double track system introduced by the incumbent government.
She cited the massive renovation in 13 technical schools during their tenure and promised to do more when given the nod.
Professor Opoku-Agyemang also indicated that, the party will provide a face left of the agriculture sector and complete all deplorable roads.
In her final submission, she pleaded with the people of Bia constituency to ensure a peaceful election during the 2020 December election.
