Western Region Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Charles Bissue has told NDC strategists to rethink after no show when Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang visited Axim.

Charles Bissue said the NDC had failed to do their homework and should rethink of strategies because what they are doing now is nothing to write home about.

"If I'm sending my presidential candidate, I will do my checks. I'll do my research and see if voters will accept him.

"If not, other things I have to do before he gets there will do done. If I were a strategist within the NDC, I would have told them not to," he told on JoyNews' Prime Morning.

John Mahama's running mate visited Axim and the Takoradi Market Circle in the Western region as part of her campaign tour towards election 2020.

But Mr Bisuse said even the welcome was absymall.

To buttress his point, he said even Nana Akufo-Addo was in the Western Region about a month ago and he received a warm welcome by the people. The place was choked.

Charles Bissue stated that "For a vice presidential candidate to be driving through Axim with nobody even cheering at her, it tells them something".

He said the NPP plans and is certain will win all 17 seats in the Western Region because the reception received by Nana Akufo-Addo proves that they have the votes of the people.

"The MP for Takoradi could even bring more people out more than the Vice Presidential candidate for the NDC", he added.
