The Senior Bishop of Action Chapel International, Bishop James Saah has called on the church to rise in prayer for the nation against violence as the country heads to the December polls.
Speaking on Joy FM’S Christian infotainment program, ‘A Walk with Jesus’, on Sunday evening, he explained that the urgent need to intercede for the country with prayers.
"I perceive we need to do a lot of praying to save this nation from trouble. There are certain signals on the wall that do not auger well for the peace of the nation”.
There have been a lot of doom prophecies about the upcoming election being bloody on the back of pockets of violence recorded during the voters’ registration exercise.
According to Bishop Saah, what bothers him is “the desperation".
"Election should not be a do or die issue. There’s life after election,” he added.
The Action Chapel Bishop wants the church to rise and offer prayer support to secure the nation against violence, vandalism, among others before, during, and after the December elections.
