Nigerian artiste Joeboy says he has a lot of respect for Ghanaian artistes and as such does not consider them as competition.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM he said, "we are brothers...(so) personally for me I do not see by Ghanaian brothers as competition."
“I respect Ghanaian artistes a lot and listen to them a lot. Once a song is popular in Ghana, Nigerians know about it,” Joeboy told Andy Dosty, host of the show.
The Empawa artiste also revealed that he likes listening to Ghanaian music and added that Nigerians usually are open to works of popular artistes from the country.
Although he does not see Ghanaians as competitors, the 'Baby' crooner stated that he does his best to make good music in order to maintain a presence in the music industry.
He explained that that is the best way to ensure longevity as an artiste in the Nigerian music industry.
