The victim of Tuesday’s Ayeduase road rage, the late Kwame Amoah, has been described by his wife as a man of peace.
Vida Ofori, wife of the victim, in an interview with Adom News, said her husband’s love for peace was what has led to his demise.
Narrating her side of the story, Miss Ofori said that after Sampson Azabanga shot her husband 3 times in her stomach, she confronted him, asking him why he had shot her husband.
However, as she held on to his shirt in the confrontation, she decided to let go, fearing that he might shoot her too.
Meanwhile, her husband was lying by the side of the road in a pool of blood.
According to Vida, Mr Amoah, 52, was well known in the Ayeduase community as a pacifist.
Unfortunately, his love for peace led to his demise as he was shot after he stepped in to settle a squabble between two drivers.
The widow suspects her husband had intervened because the other driver was a church member.
However, the sister of the suspect is also refuting police claims that her brother shot himself.
She said a video obtained by the family revealed that the police allegedly shot her brother.
