Tijaniyya Muslims Movement has advised political parties to accept the results of the December 7th election to avoid any act of violence.
Ahead of the general election, the coalition has reiterated the need for peace before, during and after the election.
The Executive secretary of the Ashanti regional branch, Ustaz Ahmed Saeed, says, Ghanaians must tolerate each other to prevent any mayhem.
He was speaking at the Tijaniyya National Day of prayers.
The program was organized to pray for the nation ahead of the elections.

"The Tijaniyya Muslims Movement organized this national day of prayers to promote and pray for a peaceful election.
"The results must be accepted by each contestant and individual
"Ghana is our country and it's our duty to safeguard the interest of Ghana first.
"We also need to tolerate each other to prevent any violence" he said.
With a few days to Ghana’s general election, security agencies are leaving nothing to chance.
This is to ensure citizens feel safe before, during and after the elections.
The General Officer Commanding, Central Command, Brigadier General Joseph Aphour advised the youth in the Asawasi constituency, to stay away from weapons during the elections.
"On Monday we will not want to see any civilian firing weapons in the air, especially the youth
"My soldiers are fully on ground and we have stronger weapons
"It will be dangerous for anyone who tries firing weapons.
"And particularly those who think they can go around with motorbikes taking ballot boxes, it will be too bad for you.
“Let’s advise them to desist from that" he emphasized.
