President Akufo-Addo has touted the achievement of his government in the economic sector.
According to the President, his government has created a level playing field for both foreign or domestic businesses in the country.
He indicated that the coming of Twitter's headquarters to Ghana is excellent and will enable people feel free and confident about investing in the economy of Ghana.
He added that “First of all, we are trying to manage the economy in such a way that there is stability in the economy and the way in which businessmen and individuals can make decisions.”
His comment come after the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the social media company, Jack Patrick Dorsey announced that Ghana has been selected to be Africa’s operational hub.
Speaking on Zain’s Exchange on CNN, Akufo-Addo further stated that before the launch of Twitter in Ghana, Google also established its first Artificial Intelligence Centre in Africa in 2019.
He added that even before Twitter "we are doing all of the recognizing that these Ghanaians stayed stable."
