Twenty-four graduates have undergone training in ways to take advantage of the digital media space to either start or effectively grow their businesses.
Ghana Tech Lab, through local incubation hub - Kumasi Hive - trained graduates expected to develop innovative ideas to curb the unemployment situation.
Business Development Associate at Kumasi Hive, Emmanuella Appiah, spoke to LUV BIZ during a pitching competition for the participants.
Participants of the pitching competition were put into four teams. The six-weeks training will equip them with skills to effectively inject technology into their start-ups.

"After pitching winners will be selected to go into incubation for two months. Kumasi Hive is committed to helping startups and through that we are reducing the unemployment rate in Ghana ''.
The beneficiaries were advised to utilize the resources available in marketing through the digital space.
"In this modern world, we need to move away from traditional marketing. Digital marketing is sometimes more cost-effective than traditional, but it is also a more direct way to connect with target audiences globally”, CEO at Kwanat Consult, Nathaniel Kwakye, said.
Winners of the competition will be groomed to build a sustainable business through mentorship and technical support.
