Wizkid Becomes The First African Artiste To Win an MTV Video Music Award
wizkidayo has become the first African artist to win an MTV Video Music Award. He won Cinematography of the Year at the recently held 2021 MTV Video Music Awards. He won this award due to his collaboration with Beyoncé on the Lion King: The Gift album with the song ‘Brown Skin Girl’. StatsWizkid in a Tweet congratulated the artist for the big win.
