Management of Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has extended a hand of love and recognition to the Chief Imam of Damongo Central Mosque, Amadu Musah and his followers with a donation of assorted products of chocolate.
The donation includes 10 boxes of chocolate, six packs of chocolate beverages and six packs of chocolate drinks.

The gesture is geared towards Monday, February 14, Valentine's Day, expressing the Authority’s love to the community.

The Savannah Regional Director of Ghana Tourism Authority, Isaac Opirah, commended Amadu Musah and Muslims in Damongo for their sense of love and togetherness, hence the need for the Authority to come forward.

"Chief Imam, your leadership of love, not only to Muslims but for us all living here, is great and worthy of emulations.
As an organisation, we are here in recognition of that strife to inculcate the spirit of true love and peace into Damongo and beyond", Mr Opirah stated.
The Director used the occasion to also appeal to Residents to consume more chocolate products to help improve their health and the country's economy.

The Damongo Central Mosque Chief Imam received the items and thanked management for their recognition.
He added, "we are all called by Allah to extend a hand of love to society. And I encourage us all to also stay healthy by eating chocolate products."
