…Company adds SEC Virtual Asset Sandbox admission to its existing Bank of Ghana Regulatory Sandbox status, cementing its place among the country's most trusted crypto platforms
Mansu Technologies Ltd, the platform behind "Crypto Made Easy," has been named among the first participants admitted into the Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana's Virtual Asset Sandbox. The announcement was made public by the SEC on 10 March 2026 under Notice No. SEC/PN/001/08/2026, following the Commission's earlier Press Release No. SEC/PR/001/03/2026.
With this admission, Mansu now holds standing in both of Ghana's active regulatory sandboxes: the Bank of Ghana Regulatory Sandbox and the SEC's Virtual Asset Sandbox. Only two companies in the country currently hold both, and Mansu is one of them. For a young company operating in a space that has often struggled to earn regulators' trust, that distinction says something. It means two separate regulators, looking at Mansu from two different angles, have both decided the same thing: this is a company worth watching closely and working with directly.
Mansu joins five other approved entities in the SEC's pilot cohort, each cleared to test a distinct virtual asset activity under the Commission's supervision. Mansu's approved pilot activity is virtual asset brokerage, placing the company among a small group of providers trusted to operate within Ghana's evolving digital asset regulatory landscape.
The SEC's Virtual Asset Sandbox was established under the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act, 2025 (Act 1154), and gives the Commission a structured way to collect regulatory data that will inform the finalisation of licensing guidelines for virtual asset service providers in Ghana. Participation in the sandbox allows Mansu to operate its brokerage services in a controlled, monitored environment while regulators observe and refine the rules that will eventually govern the sector.
"When we started Mansu, the goal was simple: make crypto easy for the everyday person, without cutting corners on trust," said Kwadwo Boakye-Yiadom, COO of Mansu Technologies. "Getting into one sandbox validates that approach. Getting into both tells us we're building something regulators believe in, not just tolerate. We've come a long way from where we started, and this is a moment we're genuinely proud of. But it also tells us we're on the right track, and we're just getting started."
Mansu's dual sandbox status adds to a growing list of regulatory engagements for the company, which has positioned itself as one of the more compliance-forward crypto platforms operating in Ghana. The company says it will continue to work closely with both regulators throughout their respective pilot periods, sharing data and feedback as each works toward permanent licensing frameworks for the sector.
Mansu Technologies is a Ghana-based crypto wallet platform built around the tagline "Crypto Made Easy." The company aims to make digital assets simple and approachable for everyday users, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and user trust.
