This afternoon on The law, Host, Samson Anyenini discussed with His Lordship, Justice Alexander Osei Tutu, the legal processes involved in acquiring and securing land in Ghana.
A number of family disputes and conflicts have evolved when it comes to land acquisition. Chiefs, family elders and in some cases Traditional leaders have forcefully acquired land from alludial owners. Land title documents have in some cases been manipulated or tampered with at the land secretariats.
