With 11 days to the start of the World Cup, Senegal are in no rush to decide on Sadio Mane after the player sustained an injury in Bayern Munich's league win on Tuesday.
The forward came off after just 20 minutes in the Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena.
In the early hours of Wednesday, French outlet, L'Equipe, reported the former Liverpool is set to miss the Mundial as he suffers from a tendon.
However, the Teranga Lions are calm over the situation and are to ruling their star man out yet.
The Senegal FA and Bayern Munich "were on the phone immediately after the game against Bremen", a Teranga Lions official tells Joy Sports.
"It is early days now. We have no clear declaration on his injury situation. Sadio is a strong man. We are calm."
Senegal are drawn in Group A where they will face the Netherlands, Qatar and Equador.
Head coach of the team, Aliou Cisse will face the press on Friday, November 11, to announce his final 26-man squad for the World Cup.
