The Ghanaian Farmer TV Show, an agricultural development television programme has donated assorted food items to 28 aged farmers in Wawase, in the Kwahu West District of the Eastern Region.
According to the founder and host of the show, Enyonam Manye, the gesture forms part of her birthday celebration.
Her return to Wawase was in fulfilment of a promise she made to one madam Adwoa Korang she met hawking in the hot sun while she was in the community shooting a documentary on ginger farming.
She supported the aged woman with food items, cash donation, pieces of clothes and soft drinks. 27 women also benefited from the kind gesture.

Present at the donation exercise was the Kwahu West Municipal Director of Agriculture, Francis Dogbese.
He expressed gratitude to Coun On Crops Hub, producers of the award-winning show on Joy Prime TV for the continued support it is giving to farmers through the flagship programme.
Meanwhile, the Executive Producer and host of the Ghanaian Farmer TV show, Enyonam Manye reiterated that the programme which also has a huge presence on Youtube aims to draw the attention of various stakeholders to find solutions to the many problems faced by hardworking Ghanaian farmers and also help in finding ways to bridge the economic gap and the sustainable livelihoods mean of the farmer.
Ms Manye commended The Ghanaian Farmer partners, Asinyo.com and Trisolace Farms and all online viewers for their support.
