The Head Pastor of the Christian Center Assembly of God in Kumasi, Rev. Osei Karikari Annor, has mentioned some of the reasons for frequent breakups in marriages lately.
Speaking on Prime Morning, which airs on Joy Prime, on Thursday, he stated that most marriages collapse due to the fact that some women deny their husbands' sex after a few years of marriage.
"You don’t give excuses when it comes to sex unless you are practically sick or your man knows that you’re extremely tired. Whatever it is, be there to give sex to the man, because if you don’t give, another person will give," he stated.
He thinks some side chicks are invading marriages because wives are failing to satisfy their husbands.
The pastor urged wives to "at least compete with the ‘slay queens’ when it comes to appearance. Try as much as possible to be there. Don’t just take things for granted. When it comes to sex, put in your best. Don’t just lie down and expect the normal thing."
This, he said, will keep the marriage going and successful.
In the same way, he encouraged married men to exhibit their best sexual performances to satisfy their wives.
"You must eat well, exercise, and you must also be ready to give your wife the best of sex and the best of caring," he said.
Rev. Osei Annor further requested men to reduce their busy schedules and devote much attention to their wives.
As a pastor, he believes marriage is not about faith but about the resources one has to cater for their families.
