Black Queens head coach Nora Hauptle says her side is relishing the opportunity of fighting for a spot at next year's Olympic Games.
Ghana will face Guinea in the first of two legs on Friday as part of the qualification games they face in an attempt to be in Paris.
Having seen the Black Meteors failed to book a slot following their early exit from the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, Hauptle believes that challenge is now theirs to take.
"You want to build some pressure now on me?" she said when asked if she is under pressure to secure qualification.
"No, for me pressure is a privilege because we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to deliver. We want to go and qualify for the Olympics. Of course, we recognize that our U-23 men could not qualify, and I feel sorry for them.
"We would take this challenge and uh, face it."
She also added that it is important for the team to have the needed understanding amongst themselves.
"We are trying to create good cohesion in the team but also each individual needs to perform and fulfil the role we demand of them. We ask for absolute support for the team so we can deliver," she continued.
The Black Queens will leave Accra on Tuesday, July 11, for Conakry to finalise their preparation for Friday's encounter.
