The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Council has released guidelines for the party's upcoming presidential and parliamentary primaries in November this year.
These guidelines were discussed and considered at its meeting on Thursday, July 20, 2023, and have been released for all aspirants to abide by and to confirm their eligibility and prepare them for the elections.
Below is a press release by the National Council of the party with all the necessary regulations.
The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set November 4, 2023, as the date for its presidential primaries to select a flagbearer for the general elections in 2024.
However, a Special Electoral College is scheduled for August 26, 2023 to reduce the 10 presidential aspirants to five after they were all cleared during the vetting process.
