Three’s a crowd.
Ariana Grande reportedly “hung out” with Ethan Slater’s now-estranged wife, Lilly Jay, and newborn son just months before her romance with her “Wicked” co-star was revealed.
A source told the Daily Mail that the “Thank U, Next” singer was so charmed by Slater and Jay’s baby that she even told those around her that she “wanted a baby” of her own “one day.”

Things have clearly taken a turn, as Slater quickly filed for divorce from Jay after news of his romance with Grande went public.
And in an exclusive interview with Page Six, Jay savagely laid the blame on Grande for her and Slater’s marital woes.

“[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl. My family is just collateral damage,” she told us Thursday.
“The story is her and Dalton,” Jay added, referencing Grande’s split from her husband, Dalton Gomez, to whom she had been married to for two years.

Jay added that she’s just trying to focus on being “a good mom” to her and Slater’s 11-month-old son at this time.

She and the “Spongebob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical” star were high school sweethearts. Slater, 31, recently gushed about Jay in honor of their fourth wedding anniversary back in November.
“My best friend. 4 years married, 10 years together. And this is easily the best (and most bizarre) year yet,” he captioned a carousel of photos with Jay from his now-private Instagram page.
Since news of Slater’s relationship with Grande, 30, broke, there have been conflicting reports on when the two first went from friends to lovers.

Several sources told Page Six that Slater had been separated from Jay for two months before his romance with Grande began.
