Presby SHS, Suhum, has paid a touching tribute to their late coordinator, securing a commanding victory in the NSMQ to book their place in the One-Eighth stage just a week after his death.

The school took full control of the contest from the opening round and never allowed their opponents a way back, turning the contest into a one-sided affair.

Their performance ended with 55 points, comfortably ahead of Navrongo SHTS on 31 and Bepong SHS on 14.

For a tutor of the school, the victory was an emotional moment. He was moved to tears as he expressed his pride in the students, describing the qualification as more than just a ticket to the next stage.

He said the performance was the best tribute the school could offer to their departed coordinator, whose passing came exactly a week before the contest.

The emotional victory was capped by another achievement, with Presby SHS, Suhum producing the highest scorer of the day and taking home the Pepsodent Highest Scorer of the Day award.
