The Administrative Manager for Dreams FC, Ameenu Shardow, has complained about the lack of effort from clubs to aid the promotion of the Ghana Premier League.
Ghana's top-flight has since a decline in patronage in the last few years with the 2022/23 campaign described as an all-time low.
Efforts to get fans to the stadium have proven unsuccessful with the state of football in the country far from encouraging.
The Ghana Football Association have been handed most of the blame for the challenges but Shardow believes the clubs have also failed to do their part.
"The truth about the matter is that, as clubs, I don’t think we are doing enough. We are not doing enough at all and I look at my club for instance I know people are spending a lot of money in the promotion of the games, [but] we virtually don’t spend anything," he told Citi Sports.
"We are not doing enough in promoting the games but there are some peculiar problems why from club to club, why we are not commanding the numbers."
The new Ghana Premier League season is expected to commence on the weekend of September 15-17 following its launch last month.
