Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Asante has been officially unveiled by Belgian side KV Mechelen after completing his transfer.
The 21-year-old joins the club from rivals Oud-Heverlee Leuven, signing a two-year deal with his new employers.
The Ghanaian, who is based in Belgium, departs OH Leuven after three years with the club, where he made just five senior appearances after coming through from the academy.
Asante made his debut for the club when he was 17 but failed to cement a place in the first team despite getting limited opportunities.
The player was without a club last year but a new opportunity has presented itself for him to rediscover himself.
The midfielder will be looking to stay beyond the 2025 deal he has signed with Mechelen but would first have to begin his career at his new club with the second team.
