Ghanaian winger, Osman Bukari, has expressed his disappointment over Red Star Belgrade's defeat to Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.
The 24-year-old scored his maiden Champions League goal for the Serbian giants against the defending champions on Tuesday night at the Etihad Stadium.
After the game, Bukari took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his disappointment about their defeat.
"Unfortunately, not the results we wanted but we will come back stronger! Thank y’all for the support!"
Bukari stunned the home crowd when he beat the offside line before placing the ball beyond Ederson to score the first goal at the stroke of halftime.
Just two minutes after the break, Man City equalised through Julian Alvarez. The Argentine forward gave City the lead on the hour mark from a beautiful free kick.
Pep Guardiola’s side then wrapped up the game when Rodri finished off a beautiful team move in the 73rd minute.
