Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored for the fourth straight German Bundesliga game to help his resurgent club Borussia Dortmund to their fourth straight win.
Dortmund, who were rock bottom in January, climbed into the top ten after the 3:0 derby win over Ghana star Kevin-Prince Boateng's Schalke 04.
After Dortmund wasted several chances in the one-sided game, Aubameyang opened the floodgates in the 78th minute when he poked home. He celebrated the goal - his tenth of the campaign - by donning his Batman costume, joined by teammate Marco Reus in a Robin get-up.
Batman and Robin indeed saved the day as Reus was to cap the win eight minutes later after Armenian Henrikh Mkitaryan had doubled the advantage in the 79th minute.
Meanwhile Cote d'Ivoire striker Salomon Kalou scored the winner for Hertha Berlin as they beat visitors Ausburg 1-0. The former Chelsea star beat the goalkeeper with a cool finish in the 88th minute after being put through by a teammate. It was his first goal of the year and his sixth of the campaign.
On Friday night Nigeria striker Anthony Ujah beat Bayern Munich and Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer with a header, but his club FC Cologne ended up losing the match 4-1 at Bayern.
