Guinness Ghana DJ Awards has officially announced that its 11th year public nominations will close at midnight on Friday, September 29.
Nominations for Africa's biggest awards scheme, aimed at celebrating DJs and personalities in Ghanaian entertainment, opened on September 1, 2023. Till date, organizers say over 28,000 entries have been submitted by Disc Jockeys and the public.
The 2023 edition of the esteemed Guinness Ghana DJ Awards features 35 categories. Similar to previous years, government offices, independent institutions, companies, associations, and individuals could nominate personalities for the awards by submitting the designated nomination form at entry.ghanadjawards.org
Powered by Smirnoff, the 11th anniversary of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards is expected to be celebrated in a music-filled style bringing together international and Ghanaian stars under one roof with a common goal to celebrate and honor both popular and unpopular hardworking and extremely talented DJs, as well as other creative talents.
With legendary personalities Kwesi Kyei Darkwa, Tommy Annan-Forson, Lovin C, Azigiza Jnr, The Woodman and DJ Veejay celebrated during previous editions with Lifetime Achievement Awards, the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards board and academy look forward to celebrating yet another deserving legend that will be revealed soon.
The 11th Annual Guinness Ghana DJ Awards will be held at the Grand Arena, Accra, on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
