Ghana international Joseph Paintsil registered his second league goal of the 2023/24 season as Genk played out a thrilling draw at home against Westerlo.
The winger scored the third four minutes into the second half Genk had taken a 2-1 lead after the opening 45 minutes.
Prior to Paintsil scoring, his countryman Christopher Baah Bonsu had been sent off just on the stroke of halftime suffering his second red card this season.
Paintsil's goal made it 3-1 but Westerlo had the numerical advantage and fought back to tie the game data the end of 90 minutes as the game ended 3-3.
Paintsil was taken off in the 80th minute before the away side scored the equaliser.
Paintsil would, however, be delighted that he found his scoring boots again and now has two goals in his last three games across all competitions.
