UK-based Ghanaian midfielder Brendan Wiredu has penned a contract extension deal with English side Fleetwood Town FC.
Wiredu's new deal at the League One side will see him stay until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The versatile player joined Fleetwood in the summer of 2022 from Colchester United where he enjoyed good times.
In his first season with Fleetwood, the Ghanaian started 31 of the 37 league games he featured for the club, scoring one and setting up two others.
Wiredu has already doubled his tally from last season in terms of goals in the 2023/24 season as he has scored twice in 16 league games so far.
