UK-based Ghanaian midfielder Brendan Wiredu was on the scoresheet for Fleetwood Town in their league win over Exeter on Saturday afternoon.
The 24-year-old scored the second goal of the game in the 3-0 win at home against Exeter as his side moved up the league table in League One.
Wiredu has featured in all but one league game for Fleetwood since his return from injury and was given the nod once again over the weekend at home.

The 24-year-old has returned to the midfield position once again this season and has been the source of protection for the defence.

The Ghanaian was deployed in the middle of the park once again by manager Lee Johnson as has been the case in the last three games prior to Saturday.
Ryan Broom opened the scoring for the home side in the sixth minute after being teed up by Danny Mayor.
Wiredu then doubled the lead for Fleetwood 26 minutes later with Phoenix Patterson providing the assist before the latter went on to score the third before the halftime whistle.
Wiredu was substituted in the 69th minute with Xavier Simons coming on to replace him.
The midfielder has featured in six league games this season for Fleetwood and scored twice already, averaging one goal every three games.
