Charlton Athletic Women midfielder Freda Ayisi has earned her first call-up to Black Queens ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against Zambia.
The UK-based footballer has been included in Nora Hauptle's squad for the third round of qualifying series for the Games to be staged in Paris, France.
Freda has been a big part of Charlton’s season this campaign as they occupy the top spot in the Women’s Championship after 15 games played.

She’s featured in all 15 games this campaign, starting 5 of them.
She was in Ghana last year for a project with @WorldVisionUK
Ayisi has been a big part of Charlton's quest to secure promotion to the English Women's Premier League featuring in all 15 of their Championship games this season. She has a goal and an assist to her name in five starts.
The list also includes Morocco-based Mafia Nyame, who was instrumental for the Black Princesses during their qualification for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup to be staged in Colombia.
However, the Swiss trainer will be without the services of goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan Findiib, who sits out the two games due to injury. Victoria Antwi Adjei takes her place in the team.

Ghana will host Zambia, in the 1st leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, February 23, before returning to Ndola for the return leg on Wedneday, February 28, 2024.
Camping begins in Accra on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
