Ghanaian designer and creative director of the renowned fashion brand Poqua Poqu is dead.
Pokua Poku-Mouhtiseb passed away on Wednesday, February 14, at age 42.
Although the family is yet to announce her cause of death, widespread reports indicated that she passed away at the Lister Hospital through labour complications.
One of Pokua's friends former NPP parliamentary aspirant Afia Akoto took to her Facebook page to confirm the fashion designer's passing.
"Fighting to come to terms Wofa Kwabena Kwakye passed on after being on the radio and TV yesterday morning, and then another huge one hits us this morning. Poqua Poku wow! I had to wait for confirmation from your cousin, but still don't want to believe this mehnnnn. Death is cruel and sometimes you wonder why it can be cold. Ah !" Afia Akoto's post read.
Pokua Poku-Mouhtiseb is survived by her husband and three children.

The late designer's brand, Poqua Poqu, since it's establishment in 2011 has been a hub for luxury women fashion.
The brand boasts of celebrity customers including Anita Erskine, Eugenia Tachie-Menson, Ayesha Bedwei Ibe, Shirley Emma Tibilla, Claudia Lumor Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE, Menaye Donkor among others.
Meanwhile, some celebrities have taken to social media to mourn Pokua Poku-Mouhtiseb's death.
TV personality Vanessa Gyan wrote; "The Maternal Health Sector in Ghana is failing women. Too many women are losing their lives during/after childbirth. This is truly heartbreaking."
