Management Committee Chair of the Black Queens, Gifty Oware-Mensah, says despite the team's good run of form, she will only rate Nora Hauptle after her time with the national team.
It's been a year since the Swiss trainer was appointed head coach of the women's national team following the technical changes which saw the team taken away from Mercy Tagoe.
Since her appointment, Hauptle has managed 11 games including 8 competitive matches and 3 friendly games. The team has won 10 of the 11 games with just one defeat suffered.
They have also scored 34 goals in the process while shipping in just two.
In an exclusive interview with Joy Sports, Oware-Mensah insisted her comments about the gaffer will come after her time with the team.
"Nora has done well. I am not the type that goes out quickly to say people have done so well because until it's done, never say never," she said looking back at the Swiss coach's one year in charge.
"For football, it's a win, lose or draw. We will win some, lose some and draw some. So far if we are to rate her, she's done well but I will only rate her after she's left the stage."
The Black Queens are currently preparing for the first leg of their third round of qualifier for the 2024 Olympic Games against Zambia at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, February 23.
Freda Ayisi (@FredaAyisi) is expected to join the rest of Black Queens team later today as they prepare for the 3rd round of Olympic Games qualifiers against Zambia.
