The Africa Development Council (ADC), a non-profit organization founded to promote sustainable industrial development in Africa, has established a Mission in Benin Republic responsible for Francophone Countries on the continent.
In this regard, the ADC has successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its Beninois representative in charge of the Mission for Francophone Countries in Africa, in the person of Mayor Amade Moussa.
Mayor Amade Moussa is currently the Mayor for Local Government and Decentralization of the Republic of Benin. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Africa Industrial Promotion Committee, AIPC.
The Signing Ceremony occurred on Friday, 15th March, 2024, in Lome the capital of Togo.
The Mission is to ensure the realization of the goals of the Africa Development Council in those areas of its jurisdiction.
The goals of industrial domestication, youth skills development, training and technical support services, are enshrined in the MoU.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Amade Moussa (Benin), the Chairman of ADC Mission for Francophone Countries and Vice Chairman, Africa Industrial Promotion Committee, Ing. Dr. Bright Atsu Sogbey, ADC President, Dr Stephen Adom (Ghana), Chairman, Africa Industrial Promotion Committee, and Mr Ernest Apetsi (Ghana), Executive Secretary of ADC.
The others are Mr Daniel Kossi Tsatsu (Togo), Member, ADC Francophone Mission, Mr Alphorn Quenum (Benin), Member, ADC Francophone Mission, Ms Essenam Segbaya (Togo) Member, ADC Francophone Mission and Madam Alexandrine Neme Amoussou (Togo) Member, ADC Francophone Mission.
This is the second agreement of cooperation signed by the Council in 2024.
The first, was that of the Centre for Additional Professional Education, Russian Federation, signed in February this year.
The President of the Council, Ing. Dr. Bright Atsu Sogbey, thanked all who played one role or the other, for these feats being chalked.

The mission is to promote sustainable industrial development in Africa by facilitating the development of innovative industrial solutions to Africa’s most pressing challenges, such as poverty, hunger, disease, and climate change, building the capacity of African businesses, governments, and civil society organizations to participate in and benefit from industrial development, and advocating for policies that support industrial development in Africa.
