Lebanon's Foreign Affairs Minister, Abdallah Bou Habib, highlighted the deep-rooted and long-standing ties of brotherhood uniting his country with the Kingdom of Morocco and its people.
He reaffirmed Lebanon's unwavering support for Morocco's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Bou Habib emphasised Lebanon's commitment to the strong bonds of brotherhood with the Kingdom of Morocco and its honourable people.
He reiterated Lebanon's position in favour of Morocco's sovereignty and territorial integrity, expressing rejection of any threats to Morocco's security.
This statement follows a telephone call from the Kingdom of Morocco's ambassador to Lebanon, during which the two parties discussed a conference held in Beirut that featured hostile positions toward Morocco.
The Minister affirmed Lebanon's condemnation of any statements undermining Morocco's stability and territorial integrity.
He stressed that Lebanon values its fraternal relations with Morocco and always aspires to strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields.
