Managing Director of the Trust Sports Emporium, Shirley Acquaah-Harrison, says her outfit is working on improving the Bukom International Pool to help enhance the sport in the country.
The facility, which has hosted major competitions including CANA Junior and Senior Swimming Championships, has not been in use for the past few years.
It’s current state is deemed not suitable for up and coming swimmers.
Acquaah-Harrison has promised the readiness of the facility in three months to be available for use.
“We're doing renovating of the pool, and I'm hoping that within a maximum of three months, it should be ready,” She told JoySports.
“This is a competition pool and it does not have a shallow end. We want to start a swimming club as well and we are hoping that goes through."
