The President of the Armwrestling Federation of Africa (AFA), Charles Osei Asibey, has arrived in Togo on a working visit aimed at strengthening armwrestling ties in the West African region.
During his visit, President Asibey will meet with the Togolese Minister of Sports, Lidi Kedjaka Bessi Kama-Gumedzoe, and the President of the Togolese Olympic Committee, Mr. Deladem Akpaki. Discussions will focus on developing Armwrestling in Togo, hosting international tournaments, and talent identification.
From Togo, President Asibey will travel to Benin, where he will hold similar meetings with the Beninese Minister of Sports, Mr. Benoît Dato, and the President of the Benin Olympic Committee.

This visit aims to promote arm wrestling's growth in West Africa and solidify partnerships between nations.
President Osei Asibey's delegation includes armwrestling experts in training and development, media, content creation etc. who will engage with officials in Togo and Benin.
The Armwrestling Federation of Africa is committed to spreading the sport across the continent, and this visit marks a significant step in achieving that goal.
