"We are in politics to help develop our communities and the country. It is significant to note that many of the developments you see in Bole and in the Savannah Region took place under the NPP. And given the chance, we will be able to do even more," Dr. Bawumia said.
"We have created the Savannah Region and the Savannah Region is seeing a lot of benefits. We are seeing a lot of projects, a lot of roads, a lot of hospitals - the agenda 111 hospitals in various areas. We are doing a lot in Savannah and we want to continue to do more."
Dr. Bawumia pointed to a number of school blocks, market centres, and chips compounds.
"We are doing a lot but we have not yet finished. That is why we are requesting for your support so that we can continue and do more."
The Bolewura, while welcoming Dr. Mawumia, also appealed to him to look at other areas of concern for him and the Bole community.
He mentioned the Sawla road, Bole market, and the Bole Central Mosque, which Dr. Bawumia agreed to renovate, while also assuring the Bolewura of seeing to the other concerns.
