For Andy Annobil, a digital marketer who works for a nonprofit organisation in education, the thought of getting Telecel Fibre Broadband fixed at his home in Effiakuma, Takoradi was necessitated by the hybrid nature of his job.
Andy’s work performance hinges heavily on the speed and stability of his internet connection. He relies on quick access to online platforms, social media channels, and data analysis tools to fuel his marketing campaigns.
“I work from home two days a week with a reading charity and having a strong internet connection is crucial. In June, I got my broadband connection installed, and it has been very helpful,” the 24-year-old IT specialist said.
Just a month into using the broadband service, Andy came across the Telecel More Money promo advertisement in the Telecel Play App as he opened it to pay for his monthly broadband subscription.
He got an inkling to tap on the promo advert and read about it. When he found out any Telecel user could opt in for free and win GH¢150 daily, GH¢30,000 weekly and the GH¢1million grand prize by chance, he went ahead to activate the promo without hesitance.
The intuition to activate the Telecel More Money promo paid off when Andy received a call last week announcing that he had won the coveted GH¢30,000 weekly prize in the ongoing promotion.
“I am still in shock and surprised about winning. I didn’t believe the first call from the head office. But during the installation of my broadband, I saved the contact of the cybersecurity and IT guy at the Takoradi office so when they called me to confirm and invite me to the presentation ceremony, then it settled in that all this was real,” Andy said.
Andy plans to invest the GH¢30,000 weekly prize into building an essentials shop for his mother and fund his younger brother’s education to help him become an engineer.

Andy’s win is a testament to the power of Telecel More Money Promo in changing lives and the diversity of the winners of the campaign so far, as all Telecel users, including mobile, prepaid, fixed and business customers are eligible to participate and win.
Andy isn’t the only fibre broadband customer from the 17 weekly winners of the promo over the last six weeks. Bismark Kanta in Accra and Kwame Akosah Boateng from Kumasi also won GH¢30,000 each in weeks three and four of the Telecel More Money promo.
The More Money Promo offers Telecel customers the opportunity to win daily cash prizes, weekly cash prizes, and a grand prize of GH¢1 million.
To participate, customers simply need to activate the promo by sending 'WIN' to 500, dialing *500# or visiting the promo section of the Telecel Play App. Participants can then increase their chances of winning by recharging their airtime or purchasing data bundles.
With over 9,000 subscribers to be rewarded in the daily, weekly and grand prize draws, every action from topping up airtime to buying data bundles brings Telecel users closer to a life-changing win.
For Andy, the future looks brighter than ever. With the weekly cash prize bagged, he plans to continue his work with the foundation and leverage his digital marketing skills with Telecel’s Fibre Broadband service to drive impactful campaigns.
He gave some advice to people on the fence about the Telecel More Money promo.
“Winning this prize has taught me that anything is possible. Dissolve any doubts you have about the Telecel More Money promo. It is real. Take action by joining the promo today. Just do it because you don’t know when your winning moment will come,” Andy added.
