Ogyeahohuo Yaw Gyebi II has been re-elected for a second term as President of the National House of Chiefs.
He won with 42 votes against 30 votes polled by the Chief of Dormaa, Osaagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, with one rejected ballot.

The Vice President of the House, Biupe-wura Abdulai Jinapor II polled 52 votes to beat his three contenders to the Vice President seat.
The election was delayed for hours as the house deliberated on a legal suit filed by the Sampa Chief, Nana Samgba Gyafla.
