Rapidly-rising Ghanaian vocal act, Aklerh, is pushing on with her upsurge with a new single titled ‘Mash Up’, to be released on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Imbued with fresh confidence after the release of her six-track EP titled ‘Dancehall Queen’ in April 2024, Aklerh’s follow-up ‘Mash Up’ single on the Revolution Record label points to her flexibility as an artiste and push back at a restrictive tag being put on her career.
“I decided to do an Afrobeat track to showcase my versatility and also explore fresh musical horizons,” Aklerh says about her new song.
Music fans have seen her show different dimensions of herself at events such as Stonebwoy's BHIM Beach Concert, Ras Kuuku's Puomfest and her own Queen of the Coast concert. She trusts fans would love ‘Mash Up’ and catch up with her current musical direction.
“I’m embarking on a media tour from January 15. That would offer a chance to interact with and appreciate all the people who have been supportive of my brand so far. It has been an exciting journey and I thank everyone who has been there for me,” Aklerh stated.
The ‘Mash Up’ single will be available at all major digital music marketing outlets including Boomplay, Apple, Spotify, Deezer. Tidal and Audiomack from January 15.
