In a significant move that could reshape the future of football and investment in Ghana, the Volta Regional representative of the Council of State, Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple, hosted former Senegalese international and ex-Newcastle United midfielder, Mohammed Diamé and his partners on a high-level business and investment visit.
Their meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, focused on unlocking the Volta Region’s immense football talent and exploring strategic partnerships that could drive economic growth across various sectors in Ghana.
Mohammed Diamé, popularly known as Momo Diamé, is a renowned former midfielder who played for Newcastle United and several top European clubs.
