Berekum Chelsea returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 triumph over Heart of Lions at the Golden City Park on Sunday, halting a two-game losing streak.
Defender Zakaria Fuseini proved the hero, rising highest to meet a set-piece delivery and head home the decisive goal in the 17th minute.
Chelsea remained disciplined and compact for the rest of the match, frustrating a Heart of Lions side that struggled to break down their well-drilled defence.
The victory moves Berekum Chelsea up to 10th place on the Ghana Premier League table with 34 points, just six points shy of the top four, and breathes new life into their push for a strong finish this season.
Heart of Lions, meanwhile, extended their winless run to three matches and slipped to fifth, a setback in their pursuit of a top-four finish.
