Scores of sympathisers, including colleagues from the Multimedia Group Limited (MGL), mourned with Adom TV/FM presenter Joyce Akumaa Dongotey Padi, popularly known as Akumaa Mama Zimbi, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, as she buried her mother, Agnes Maamle Dongotey.
Madam Agnes passed away on April 9, 2025.

The funeral service occurred at the New Achimota Christ the King Congregation Presbyterian Church.

Later, the final burial rites were held at the Achimota Astroturf Mile 7 Park.

She was interred at the Somanya Awudime Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery.

A Thanksgiving service will be held in honour of Madam Agnes on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

A vibrant display of culture also took place at the funeral, with the Adowa dance taking center stage.
