Renowned Ghanaian Media personality, Joyce Akumaa Dongotey- Padi popularly known as Akumaa Mama Zimbi or AMZ, has been named as the brand ambassador for Royal Vina Rice, a subsidiary of Royal Vina Foods, a producer of made-in-Ghana food products.
Akumaa Mama Zimbi, who is known for her advocacy work and empowering women especially widows, will be the face of the rice brand’s latest campaign aimed at improving sales and brand visibility.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Royal Vina Foods, Davina Sheilla Mensah, expressed excitement with the host of Adom TV's Odo Ahomaso show saying, it is part of the company's mission to help promote the consumption of made-in-Ghana products.
She added that Akumaa Mama Zimbi has built a credible and outstanding brand over the years and it deems it fit to associate with such a trusted personality.
“The whole campaign is to promote the consumption of made-in-Ghana foods, especially Royal Vina Rice. Admiring Akumaa Mama Zimbi over the years, we are convinced that she is the right person to help build the brand and increase sales", Davina Sheilla Mensah said.

The CEO took the opportunity to urge individuals, families, corporate entities and everyone to consume Royal Vina Rice during this Christmas festivities.
On her part, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, whilst expressing her delight said, she will work tirelessly to ensure that the brand achieves its objectives of signing her.
“I am humbled to be working with Royal Vina Rice. The brand was created to fill the void of lack of access to affordable made-in-Ghana foods in the country, and this partnership is to help increase sales and brand visibility. I will work like it is my own. This aligns with my personal goals to help local entrepreneurs", she said.
Royal Vina Foods is a Ghanaian Food product entity that deals in the production of Ghana brown rice, Ghana white rice, pure honey, brown sugar and coconut oil.
